I suppose mixed feelings are normal. I love the characters in Lilac Hill, but second guessing comes easily. I changed the cover at the last moment in an intuitive move after my husband expressed worries over the original one. I think this one could start a motif using motion, nature and the figure if a solitary women/girl. Thanks to Stella for taking a wonderful picture, turning it on its side and giving me a metaphor for this novel. There are two sides to Sarah and she is bending and twisting as she merges into finding a place to fit in.
